Rae Morris:Makeup The Ultimate Guide

I just bought this book by legendary Australian makeup artist Rae Morris. The book is not really about basic makeup techniques though so your better off learning them elsewhere. Rather this book is more a lesson in high-fashion or 'glamour' makeup. Still it has some pretty great looks. It is available for $39.95

Ram caught on wire

In Norway a ram got caught hanging 15ft in the air from his horn on an electric wire   and had to be helped down by a group of German tourists who lowered him using a rope. It is said he was trying to take the fast route to a group of ewes grazing below.

Milly Ready to wear Spring 2010

I had never heard of the label Milly before, but I'm definitely liking this collection. There is a definite ethnic influence shown in the intricate bead work and bright tribal like patterns. The jackets in this collection are a must have and combined with gorgeous green satin, it is hard to resist.
