THE NEW RUSSH

The new RUSSH is in stores featuring a fashion editorial with Daul Kim and interview with eccentric fashion designer Dries Van Noten and plenty of other good stuff. Aaaah I love this magazine.

Sam Haskin's is a world renowned photographer best known for his nude photographs. His most influential works include 'Cowboy Kate' (1965) and 'Haskins Posters'(1973). Since 2000 he has focussed primarily on fashion photography shooting for such respected publications as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Allure. Below are some images from his work Cowboy Kate:

The Sexual Paradox-Susan Pinker

I recently bought this book 'The Sexual Paradox' by Susan Pinker. It has proved to be a very enjoyable read. Pinker discusses the differences between the sexes. Why men still dominate in careers like science and engineering and why so many successful women decide to drop very high paid careers for ones that are much more poorly paid. She also looks into the why a lot of men who did poorly at school do much better than their female peers who excelled at school. This book is great for anyone who is interested in human nature and gender relations.

A dedication to Snejana

Snejana Onopka's beauty is hard to shape in words. She has a tragic, ethereal and yet sensual quality which is very rarely found. It is no wonder that photographers and designers have taken a liking to her. She first began her modelling career after being spotted by a scout in Kiev (the capital of Ukraine). She has since appeared in ad campaigns for Dolce and Gabbana, Prada, Calvin Klien,Gucci, Marc Jacobs and many more. I have picked out a few beautiful pictures of her which I hope you like.

Our very own Abbey Lee Kershaw as been a chosen for a number of prestigious shows including Chanel, Burberry, Blumarine, Gucci, Etro, Sonia Rykiel, Elie Saab, Kenzo, Valentino and the list keeps going. It seems shes come a long way from winning the Girlfriend model search.
